HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Salih Al Khulaifi met Sunday with HE Ukraine’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Ambassador Maxim Sobh, on the sidelines of the 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), which kicked off Sunday in Doha.
During the meeting, they discussed relations of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs also affirmed the State of Qatar’s position and keenness on the Charter of the United Nations and the established principles of international law, including obligations under the charter to settle international disputes by peaceful means, refraining from the threat or use of force, and commitment to the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of states.
