Atlas Water and Electric (AWE) (https://the-AWE.com) is pleased to announce its participation in the United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration’s (ITA) executive-led Trade Mission to Kenya. The trade mission coincides with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Kenya’s Regional Business Summit, which brings together key government and business leaders from East Africa- Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and the DRC.

During the trade mission, AWE will seek to introduce the Kenyan people and government, as well as the wider East African region to its groundbreaking technology, the Atmospheric Wind Extractor (AWE). The AWE is a revolutionary technology that produces base-load renewable energy and water through air compression. The device is capable of harnessing the power of wind and converting it into clean and sustainable energy, while also extracting moisture from the air and purifying it into drinking water.

“We are thrilled to participate in this trade mission and showcase our innovative technology to the East African region,” said M. Kenyatta, CEO of Atlas Water and Electric. “The Atmospheric Wind Extractor has the potential to revolutionize the way we produce energy and water, especially in regions that face challenges in accessing these basic necessities.”

The trade mission will provide AWE with an opportunity to network with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the East African region. This will enable the company to explore potential partnerships and collaborations that could facilitate the deployment of its technology in the region.

“We believe that the East African region has the potential to benefit immensely from our technology,” said John McCrimmon, Vice President of Business Development for AWE.

“Access to clean and sustainable energy and water is critical for economic development and poverty alleviation. We hope that our technology will contribute towards addressing these challenges in the region.”

The trade mission is part of the ITA’s ongoing efforts to promote US businesses and products in international markets. The ITA provides a range of services to US companies, including trade counseling, market intelligence, and advocacy to help businesses succeed in global markets.

The trade mission and AmCham will take place from March 27th to March 30th, 2023, in Nairobi, Kenya. In addition to participating in the AmCham Kenya Regional Business Summit, AWE will also attend networking events and meetings with government officials and business leaders in the region.
