His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, following the violent earthquake that struck the southeastern regions of his country.
In this message, HM the King says He was deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the terrible earthquakes which struck the southeastern part of Türkiye, causing many casualties and extensive damage. “On this sad occasion, I send you and the grieving families, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Moroccan people, our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy following this natural disaster,” the Sovereign points out.
“We share your grief and wish to convey the Kingdom of Morocco’s solidarity and compassion in these difficult circumstances,” HM the King further noted, wishing the injured a speedy recovery and praying that Almighty God spare Türkiye any further misfortune.
