Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ms. Najla al-Mangoush have congratulated each other, during a phone conversation, on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and held talks over ways of expanding ties.
Amirabdollahian and his Libyan counterpart also exchanged views about regional and international developments.
The top Iranian diplomat invited Ms. Mangoush to visit Tehran, which was welcomed by the Libyan official. The two foreign ministers, among other issues, discussed the reopening of the Iranian Embassy in Libya and the dispatching of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ambassador to the North African country.
