On March 13th, commencing at 6:30 p.m. for approximately 40 minutes, Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, had a meeting with Mrs. Ana Afonso Dias LOURENÇO, First Lady of the Republic of Angola, who is visiting Japan.
Mrs. KISHIDA welcomed the visit of President João Manuel Gonçalves LOURENÇO and Mrs. Ana Afonso Dias LOURENÇO to Japan and expressed her hope that their visit would be fruitful and provide a great opportunity to deepen the relation between the two countries. Mrs. LOURENÇO stated that she was pleased to visit Japan, touching upon her appreciation for Japanese hospitality and expressed her hope for further deepening of cooperative relations of both countries in such fields as business.
They also exchanged views, in a friendly atmosphere, on sports exchanges as well as the empowerment of women in society.
