On Thursday, 29th March, 2023, the Deputy Head of Mission, Ambassador Grema Satomi GS welcomed Mr. Maxim Agapitov, President of the Russian Weightlifting Federation to the Embassy of Nigeria, Moscow.
They both explored ways of establishing cooperation between the Weightlifting Federations of Nigeria and Russia as the two countries have produced reputable weightlifters in recent years.
