The Kenyan government’s commitment to transforming the country through the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda has been reflected in the recent release of the government’s performance report for the fiscal year 2021/2022.

The report evaluated the performance of ministries, state corporations, and tertiary institutions and highlighted the achievements of the healthcare sector in particular.

The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, joined H.E President William Ruto, DP Gachagua, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia, and fellow Cabinet Secretaries at the release of the report.

The government’s focus on ensuring all Kenyans have access to quality and affordable healthcare has been a key pillar of the transformative agenda.

The report recognized the Ministry of Health’s KUTRRH for being the best-performing state corporation and ranking number 3 out of all parastatals.

This recognition of the healthcare sector’s achievements is a positive step forward in the government’s commitment to providing universal healthcare for all Kenyans. The government’s efforts to improve access to healthcare and strengthen the healthcare system will play a vital role in driving the country’s economic transformation and improving the lives of its citizens.
