VOXAFRICA TV ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF 2ND  SEASON | THE VOICE AFRIQUE !

After an exceptional first season , that saw more than 10 million people inCameroon and 9 million viewers in Ivory Coast alone tuning in every Saturday, forfive months, Voxafrica TV has launched the second season of the highly ratedflagship TV show, in French Speaking Africa.

The show, which is officially sponsored by Orange, will be broadcasted everySaturday from October 14 th 2017 on Voxafrica TV’s Francophone Africa and Europeplatforms. The Voice Afrique Francophone will also be replayed on partnering TVchannels.

Music fans will once more discover new talents that will be competing for fourmonths until the big final, which is due to air on January 27 th 2018.

Winner of the first Season – Pamela Baketana

 

The winner will have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the show’s firstwinner Pamela Baketana, and walk away with a record deal courtesy of UniversalMusic.

The second season of the Voice Afrique Francophone will be staged for 16 weeksand bring together 4 judges made up of African and international music stars , aswell as a charismatic master of ceremony. Their mission will be to reveal the bestvoice amongst contestants from 16 French speaking countries (Benin, BurkinaFaso, Burundi, Cameroun, Congo, The Ivory-Coast, Gabon, Guinee, Equatorial Guinee,Mali, Niger, Central African Republic, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal,chad and Togo).

The show will run over 16 episodes and feature 6 blind auditions, 4 battles, 2knockouts and 4 live shows from 06 th January 2018.The search to find the most talented singer in Francophone Africa will follow thebelow steps:

  • From 1st June 2017 – 23rd July 2017: search for talents in 16 Frenchspeaking countries⁻
  • From 15th July 2017: Internet Castings
  • 29th & 30th July 2017: simultaneous local castings in Abidjan for the WestAfrican Region and Douala for the Central African Region.

Season 2 of the Voice Afrique Francophone has a lot of surprises in store, VoxafricaTV will continue to update the press and its millions of eager waiting fans as theshow draws closer.
